SAMAKI WA KUKAANGA - FRIED FISHIngredients 1kg- sliced fish steaks (Tuna or king fish or any fleshy fish) 4 medium cloves of garlic crushed 5 g.(1 teaspoon) salt 5 g. (1 teaspoon) ground black pepper 5 g.(1 teaspoon) chili powder (optional) juice from 1½ limes 200 m1. I cup) salad oilMETHOD Mix all the ingredients with the Lime juice to a paste - except for the fish and oil Spread the paste over the fish and let it stand for 10 minutes Heat the oil in a frying pan.When hot turn heat down to medium and fry the Fish brown and turn over. When both sides are brown remove from the oil and serve hot.(4 PEOPLE) |
